Rowan was born on the day of the English coronation and although there was no plan to bring a new male, when we saw HIM and his bloodline, we couldn’t say no… he came to us all the way from South Africa after a mandatory 1-year waiting period of the authorities. The reason he’s really important to us is that his bloodline is based on our first dogs, so it includes Mitch, Cassie and their son, Born To Be Your Oscar de la Renta, from our famous fashion designer litter, in which 5 dogs became International Champion. Our dogs and other New Zealand lines and Hazelmere dogs found in the pedigree ensure that the type we see in Rowan is deeply set and therefore will be inherited well, as we hope. Rowan’s charming smile has already captured many hearts. We look forward to what the future has in store for our young prince.
